How to Store and Care for Fashion Jewelry
Simple habits that keep gold-tone and silver-tone pieces looking polished between wears.
Fashion jewelry stays looking refined when storage and daily habits are consistent. These notes are general guidance. Always follow the exact care instructions on the product page when they are provided.
Store pieces separately. Chains, settings and charms can scratch one another when they share a crowded dish. Soft pouches, divided trays or individual compartments help at home and when traveling.
Keep jewelry dry unless a product page says otherwise. Remove pieces before swimming, showering or heavy workouts. Moisture and heat can affect finishes over time.
Apply perfume, lotion and hair products before putting jewelry on. Direct contact with fragrance and cosmetics can dull metal finishes and leave residue on crystal accents.
After wearing, wipe gently with a soft, clean cloth. This removes oils and dust without abrasion. Do not use harsh polishing compounds, toothpaste or abrasive cleaners unless a product page specifically recommends them.
Lay necklaces flat or hang them individually to reduce tangling. Keep bracelets and rings in a lined section so open cuffs and signet faces do not rub against harder surfaces.
Travel with a small pouch set. Separating earrings, rings and chains for the trip protects finishes and makes packing simpler when you return home.
If a piece arrives damaged or something feels unexpected after wear, contact support with your order reference and clear photographs. Care guidance here does not replace product-specific notes or the returns process for damaged items.
